This item is part of a series of photographs from a scrapbook created by Donald Joseph Zinn, an employee and later a research fellow at the Bass lab. The Bass Biological Laboratory was a fully functioning research laboratory as well as a biological collecting and field station. The lab was located in Englewood, Florida, and operated during the 1930s and 1940s. These images were most likely taken in the early 1930s. This photo may have been taken inside the lab. Books and a net are visible in the background. |
