Photograph, man with snakeskin standing by a tree on the Bass property, c.1933-1934: Bass personal papers and Zinn photographs

Abstract

This item is part of a series of photographs from a scrapbook created by Donald Joseph Zinn, an employee and later a research fellow at the Bass lab. These images were most likely taken in 1934 while Zinn worked at the lab. Many of the photographs have either a caption in the scrapbook, notes on the back of the photograph, or both. The alternate title listed above comes from the back caption written on the photograph. The man, Mauser, appears in several other photographs in this collection but the spelling of his name is unclear.
