Abstract:
This report describes activities of the 1990-1991 contract year fish stock enhancement project by Mote Marine Laboratory. The project focused on three areas of research: larval snook dietary and physiology studies; the monitoring of hatchery produced red drum in Sarasota Bay; and development of red grouper collection and laboratory maintenance procedures. In addition, renovations were made to the Mote Marine Laboratory Culture Facility to improve conditions for conducting larval snook experiments and for maintaining red grouper broodstock.
