dc.description.abstract This item is part of a series of photographs from a scrapbook created by Donald Joseph Zinn, an employee and later a research fellow at the Bass lab. These images were most likely taken in 1934 while Zinn worked at the lab. Many of the photographs have either a caption in the scrapbook, notes on the back of the photograph, or both. The alternate title listed above comes from the caption in the scrapbook, while the back caption on the photograph reads "A flashlight picture of Johnny and his Xmas tree." This image is one of several that appear to be experimental flash or night photography by Zinn. en
