Photograph, woman and man outdoors at Bass property, c.1933-1934: Bass personal papers and Zinn photographs

Abstract

This item is part of a series of photographs from a scrapbook created by Donald Joseph Zinn, an employee and later a research fellow at the Bass lab. These images were most likely taken in 1934 while Zinn worked at the lab. Many of the photographs have either a caption in the scrapbook, notes on the back of the photograph, or both. The alternate title listed above comes from the caption in the scrapbook, while the back caption on the photograph reads "Jimmy." The woman in the foreground is called Jane, and the man in the background is Jimmy. Jane and Jimmy both appear in several other photographs in the scrapbook.
