Mote Marine Laboratory (MML) embarked on a revised and expanded Red Tide Research Program in July, 1984 supported primarily by a grant from the Florida Legislature coordinated through the Division of Sponsored Research, University of South Florida. The revised MML program provides an integrated approach among three study areas: culture maintenance and ecological studies, human effects (airborne-toxins) studies, and chemical analysis studies. |
