Shark tagging and shark and skate research by combined Mote Marine Laboratory, Moss Landing Marine Laboratories, Virginia Institute of Marine Science, and University of Florida. Study of movement patterns, age validation studies, nursery habitats, mortality rates, tag testing, DNA sequencing, etc. is part of the whole project.
