This item is part of a series of operational records from the Zoological Research Supply Company, including reports from sales representatives on meetings with customers, information on acquiring, preserving, and shipping specimens, and related records, such as correspondence. The ZRS served as the profit-making subsidiary of the Bass Biological Laboratory, and operated in the mid to late 1930s and early 1940s. This letter to the ZRS describes a damaged order that arrived to the Department of Bacteriology and Parasitology of the University of Chicago. |
