Abstract:
Seven rough-toothed dolphins from a mass stranding near Hutchinson Island, FL were sent to the Mote's Dolphin and Whale Hospital. The first part of the report covers the diagnosis, treatment and preparation for release of the three that survived. The 2nd part covers their release and tracking by direct radio and satellite-linked transmitters. Water depth, rate of travel, sea surface temperature, dives and movement were reported until the transmitters ceased sending.
