The primary goal of this study was the use of a community-based approach to provide data to help the Park manager and Park biologists better understand the current status of marine debris in SLIPSP for future management decisions. Other goals were the location, identification and removal of marine debris within the State Park; creation of a marine debris hotline; and connection of debris proportions to specific user groups to help identify future education and outreach targets. |
