This item is part of a series of materials relating to a publication called the "Englewood Trade Wind," which was produced and distributed by the Zoological Research Supply Company (ZRS). The ZRS served as the profit-making subsidiary of the Bass Biological Laboratory, and operated in the mid to late 1930s and early 1940s. The Englewood Trade Wind publication featured articles of local and biological interest as well as pricing and descriptions for various products sold by the ZRS. The publication ceased in the early 1940s. This article, "Gauling situation," discusses the attempt to replace ingredients for facial creams due to the lack of supplies coming from Europe during World War II. |
