Abstract:
This report describes activities conducted from January 1, 1993 through December 31, 1993. The research project is designed to determine the basic hearing capabilities of the Florida manatee (Trichechus manatus). Phase One, for which the Permit was issued, focuses on defining the hearing capabilities of manatees through psychometric (behavioral) training and testing.
