Abstract:
This report summarizes sea turtle monitoring by Mote Marine Laboratory's Sea Turtle Conservation and Research Program for the Casey Key, Florida, shoreline in 2009. Casey Key shoreline contains 11.8 km (7.3 mi) of sea turtle nesting habitat. Loggerhead turtles accounted for 98.2% of sea turtle activity, green turtles 1.5% and Kemp's ridley turtles the remaining 0.3%.
