dc.description.abstract This report describes a study involving the collection and analysis of biological samples from Crews Lake beginning in the fall of 1990, to acquire information regarding potential affects of any downstream perturbation of the water quality. Crews Lake is the headwaters of the Pithlachascotee River in Florida. Monitoring changes in faunal communities, primarily benthic macroinvertebrates, enable researchers to detect variations of the water quality. en
