dc.description.abstract The study was undertaken to determine the origin and extent of sewage influx to the Weeki Wachee river using sediment coprostanol content as an indicator of sewage derived material. The study plan included seven sites to be sampled once in March and again in December, 1991. An additional study was performed comparing coprostanol concentrations with coliforms and enterococci abundances in sediments. en
