dc.description.abstract This report describes a study with an objective to provide near-continuous values of suspended solids levels within one foot (30 cm) of the bottom at a location off the proposed Martin County beach restoration site. The site is located several miles north of the St. Lucy Inlet on the Florida east coast. This data will serve as pre-restoration baseline data to be compared to levels of turbidity during and after restoration activity. The instrument package deployed for this study was the Downing & Associates infrared backscatterance sensor (OBS). en
