dc.description.abstract This report describes a study with a goal to provide near-continuous values of suspended solids levels within one foot (30 cm) of the bottom at three nearshore locations: Clearwater, Venice, and Vero Beach, Florida, in the vicinity of recording wave gages maintained by the Coastal and Engineering Department of the University of Florida. The turbidity monitoring packages were deployed during April 1988 for the Florida Department of Natural Resources, Division of Beaches and Shores, to be utilized in interpretation of beach erosion and sediment transport processes. en
