dc.description.abstract This report describes a study that was undertaken to identify specific tributaries, Port activities or other sources contributing the majority of metal loading in Port Manatee, located in Tampa Bay, Florida. To evaluate the aquatic environment of Port Manatee and its surroundings, analyses for nutrients, metals and granulometry were performed on sediment samples from this area. The results of the sediment analyses were compared to a collection done in 1982 which may provide an indication of trends through time. en
