Abstract

Florida Gulf of Mexico coastal areas were assessed as nurseries for blacktip and other sharks. Monthly, random stratified, fishery-independent sampling by gill net in three Florida coastal areas (Yankeetown, lower Tampa Bay, and Pine Island/Charlotte Harbor)were were conducted from March through October 1995-97.
